Dr. Nasir did his MBBS from Acharaya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences, Jammu and joined Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, LD hospital, which is associated with the Government Medical College, Srinagar for his MD/MS postgraduate degree. Apart from his regular duties which involves attending ER, OPD and OT, his research focus is to investigate the serum beta hCG (β-hCG) between hypertensive pregnant and non-hypertensive pregnant woman. Women with high serum β-hCG levels at 12 to 24 weeks of gestation have 1.67 times more risk of developing pregnancy-induced hypertension.
