Dr. Hamid Yousf Dar

Dr. Dar’s research is focused on elucidating the role of Gut microbiota in modulating immune system and the trafficking of various T cells from Gut during bone pathologies. He received his Ph.D. from Central University Sagar, MP- India where his doctoral thesis was mainly focused on Osteoimmunology to study the interaction between bone and Immune cells. Soon after his Ph.D., Dr. Dar worked as ICMR-Post Doctoral Fellow to study the role of various Lactobacillus & Bifidobacterium species on Bone health at AIIMS, New Delhi for before joining Emory University, USA.
