Dr. Bilal Ahmad Rah

Dr. Bilal Rah is currently working as Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Biotechnology, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Rah’s research is focussed on identification and validation of novel molecular targets and their translation into clinical applications. The major objective his research interest is the elucidation of the anti-cancer potential of natural products and their possible mechanism of action. He received his Ph.D. at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR)-IIIM, New Delhi, India in 2016; his M.Sc. at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, J&K, India in 2008 and B.Sc. at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar, J&K, India in 2005. Dr. Rah's previous positions and honors include Senior Resident in the Department of Immunology and Molecular Medicine at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), India. Post-Doctoral Research Associate, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Ohio State, University, Columbus, Ohio, USA (2017); Post-Doctoral Research Associate, Buffet and Pamela Cancer Center, University of Nebraska, Omaha, Nebraska, USA (2016); His employment and positions include Senior Resident. Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar (J&K), India (2017-Present), and Adhoc Assistant Professor- Department of Higher Education, Srinagar, J&K, India (2017). Dr. Rah is a member of the Indian Association of Cancer Research, Indian Immunology Society, and Editorial Board Member of various peer-reviewed journals
